Friends, All the readers and all the JATS, today I am very happy to notify you that Government of Haryana has officially notified all its departments to start / amend the Jat Reservation Policy in all the departments, Education as well as jobs from now with immediate effect and I have managed to get an official copy of that NOTIFICATION of Haryana Government from office of Polytechnic College, Sonipat as my father is currently working there,

WELFARE OF SCHEDULED CASTES AND BACKWARD CLASSES DEPARTMENT

NOTIFICATION

The 23^rd January, 2013

No. 59 SW (1)-2013 The Government of Haryana is pleased to declare the following classes pf people, residing in the State, as Special Backward Classes, with immediate effect:-

1.     Bishnoi

2.     Jat

3.     Jat Sikh

4.     Ror

5.     Tyagi

1.  The Government of Haryana is further pleased to provide 10% reservation in jobs under Government / Government Undertakings and Local Bodies as well as in educational institutions for these Special Backward Classes in exclusion to the already notified 27% reservation provided to the Other Backward Classes.

2.  For providing the benefit of reservation to Special Backward Classes, the criteria shall be same as is applicable to Other Backward Classes in the State and other instructions issued by the Government from time to time.
