(PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGY-I)
PRACTICAL
Max. Marks: 80 Total Hours: 75 (3hrs/week)
1) Preparation and Evaluation of:
(a) cold cream2) Preformulation studies including drug-excipient, compatibility studies, effect of stabilizers, preservatives etc. in dosage form design.
(b) vanishing cream
(c) Cleansing lotion and creams
(d) moisturizing creams
(e) skin tonics,
(f) hair creams and hair conditioners
(g) shampoos
(h) hair colorant
(i) depilatory
(j) shaving creams and sticks
(k) tooth powder
(l) tooth pastes
(m) after shave lotions and other cosmetics as studied in theory.
3) Stability evaluation of various dosage forms.
4) Dissolution testing and data evaluation for oral solid dosage forms.
5) GMP for various dosage forms.
NOTE: ANY OTHER EXPERIMENTS (S) MAY BE INCLUDED IN SUPPORT OF THE THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF THE COURSE.
