- Preparation of standard buffer (nitrate, phosphate, carbonate and measurement of pH).
- Separation of lipids by TLC.
- Quantitative estimation of amino acids.
- Quantitative estimation of proteins.
- Identification of C-terminal amino acids of proteins.
- Estimation of blood glucose, blood cholesterol, SGPT and SGOT activity.
- Enzymatic hydrolysis of glycogen by αand βamylase.
- Acid hydrolysis and action of salivary amylase on starch.
- Estimation of chloride, glucose, ammonia and creatinine in urine.
- Identification of carbohydrates, proteins and fats.
- Identification of abnormal constituents of urine.
